Bye Bye Weekends
It is now the Spring which means many things to many people but to a Scout it means one thing: saying goodbye to your weekends.
The warmer weather brings with it camps and a whole host of other activities that only an idiot would partake in during the winter.
My calendar is telling me that between now and the end of June I have 5 weekends where I’m not doing anything but that will most probably change.
This isn’t a moan though because I’m not forced into doing as much as I do. I do it because I enjoy it and want to do it.
Most people would say I’m mad doing what I do. I just say it’s better to be mad and enjoying yourself than being sane and not!
